View all 24 photos...
OK, opprtunity came up to do yet another little road trip so we packed the bags, jumped in dannys rewnt a car and headed to Mora, (supposedly 2hrs north of Gavle). however once we got givemn a detour by the police we tended to take the long way and got there about 4 hrs later which was all good cos we got to see some good scenery...Got to Mora and had a look around..not much to see so we ended up having snow fights, building massive snow man and doing jumps into the snow from different hrights for a few hours before hitting the road home...

Well This was a wicked trip and it has taken so long to post because we took about 1600fotos between us so i had to choose somegood ones for the site and also cos im just lazy....Well 4 of us took off from Gavle, Brandon (canada), Maartin (belgium) and Nick (Sth Africa)....Was a weird experience for me leaving an airport full of snow, there were snow ploughs running up and down it which looked pretty cool. Got into Prague (Czech Republic) and first impression was of how clean it was, the airport and the streets were imaculate, which i have to say i expected the exact opposite, We met Up with Brandons Mum (Barbie) who lives in prague and stayed with her for the duration of our stay...she lived in a wicked party of the city with pubs all around and a nearby park with an awesome view of the city and the castle on the hill, Prague is full of old churches and buildings which are pretty incredible, we went to the most famous one on top of the hill and it was something else, it had such detail in all aspects it just was amazing....then checked out a few other sites around the caslte..there are some wicked old bridges and buildings in prague,, i was told they lasted this long because it was one of the few cities that didnot get bombed in the world wars...Headed out into the country a bit, checked out amad castle at Karjlstien, which was like a realcastle...i was impressedbut inside was plain...Prague is a city known for its night life and cheap cheap beer, $1 Aus dollar for 5ooml which dead seriously made it cheaper then water, spo being the smart, budget driven traveloors we were we obliged to by the cheapest drinks and check the sites out every night...we heard it has 11000 drinking holes in the city alone, to demostrate how cheap it is, Pommes can fly there, stay the night in a hotel, get smashed and fly home for cheaper then going out in londong for a medicre night...We played some pub golf...which is 9 or 18 holes, 1 beer per holes and the par is how many sips you must drink it in, for every shot (sip) you go over par you must take a shot, so as you can imagine we were smashed....we also met a russian stripper and her friend who joined in on the game..was a good night,
Also head ed to a place called chesky rye, for some hiking which was also a great experience and saw some great scenery and headed to a church full of skeletons, it was something out of this world...just look at the photos...anyway got heaps more in, had a ball....great bunch of blokes and Barby and her room mate bell took great care f us....

every place you see us with a beer is at a different location

Headed up to hemlingby today which is the local skil hill and is very small but we all got some sleds and had a good crack at it...no broken bones, but some real saw arses......Then headed down to the local Irish pub where Sweden were playing Finland in the final of the olympic Ice hockey, which is taken very serious.....The girls in the pictures are all finish and were devestated with the loss, which isaac andi enjoyed because australia then beat finland on the medal tally.....then had big cook up....day over
